Content Specialists/Writers
Publishing services company looking for talented writers on a project-by-project basis. Writers with experience writing content for grades K-2 instructional materials (reading and math) and educational textbooks (medical, nursing, occupational therapy, and biology) are encouraged to contact us.
Copyeditors and Proofreaders
Freelance copyediting and proofreading opportunities are available on a project-by-project basis. A minimum of two years experience in copyediting and proofreading is required. All qualified applicants will be required to pass the appropriate test. With your resume, submit three professional references, a list of the style guides and reference books with which you are familiar, a list of software programs you use for copyediting or proofreading, as well as pertinent work experience.
Part-time Production Editor
Resumes are currently being accepted for a part-time Production Editor for editorial management of textbooks and other publications. Ideal candidates have two or more years experience copyediting, proofreading, or production editor experience in book production; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal with frequent interruptions. Also required is demonstrated knowledge and skills with MSWord and Acrobat. Only qualified candidates should submit resume, salary requirements, and professional references.
Sales Representative
Central PA company has opportunity for a Sales Representative selling leading edge publishing services to any publisher of content; including trade, education, associations, organizations, government agencies and corporations that generate content for print, web and/or mobile devices. Creative self-starter must be able to vet prospects; identify proper buyer authority; prepare suitable presentations relevant to prospective client’s needs. Must have basic computer skill sets.
